What issues do you think GOTV literature should focus on??

I'm planning to join up with local political groups to volunteer in their gotv initiatives including canvassing, ect. I'd like to prepare some pamplets, flyers, ect discussing the issues. (letter folded in half, legal folded in half and full letter flyers) Please post your ideas here:

2. I'd choose three issues...

Draft, escalating healthcare costs (esp. meds), loss of jobs/declining economy.

I'd take a letter size sheet and fold it in half. The "cover" would read something like "Three important reasons why you should vote John Kerry for president for America's future."

I'd devote each of the other pages to no more than four bulleted items about one issue. Limit each bulleted item to a total of about 25-30 simple words. Make each item a positive reason to vote FOR Kerry. (ie. John Kerry will cover ALL children with health insurance.)

You might put ONLY one negative item about Bush in a box on each page at the bottom. (ie. George W. Bush is the first president since Herbert Hoover in the Great Depression to LOSE jobs.)

Make the type 12-14 point and make the layout simple--- easy to follow.
