Atlanta Journal endorses Kerry
Wow that is good for my state, I am highly impressed.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution also endorsed Senator John Kerry on Saturday. "Too often," the AJC editorial declared, "Bush has seemed to disdain rational analysis of a situation in favor of a rigid, unbending ideology that recognizes no shading of gray. The world that Bush describes, and the world as it exists, are often two different.

(lost my link, do one if you will someone if this not a dupe.

4. Bush! text here:
Voters who go with the Republican candidate for president will be supporting a man of integrity who believes government should have less of a role in Americans' lives.

snip

Further, he is straightforward and honest enough to work with both parties in Congress to get things accomplished. A Gore administration, like the current one, would be so trapped by its ideology that it would end up in a constant series of impasses that would leave America's problems plunging ever deeper into a whirlpool of government by veto.

Maybe Europeans, with their multiplicity of far-out parties, wouldn't think Election Day 2000 presents much of an option, but Americans ought to be able to see differences that really, truly matter.

When those are weighed fully and fairly, the choice should be clear: If we want to live in a country where personal responsibility is valued and individual freedoms are protected, we need to go to the polls on Nov. 7 and vote for George W. Bush.

In the real world, Kerry a better fit
Bush has shown he lacks flexibility, competence, while challenger looks for policies that will work

9. AJC is a Cox paper.
The Dayton Daily News is the flagship of the 'conglomerate' (they own six city dailies, it's not a megacorp), and it endorsed Gore in 2000. It kind of sounds like they may also endorse Kerry this year, though ironically, between hate radio and the Air Force base here, Bush may take Montgomery county. AJC may have about as much pull as DDN does in Dayton.
