Pundits: Bush Mad, Kerry Composed
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/10/09/politics/main648400.shtml

<snip>

Though Mr. Bush was more composed than in last week's first presidential debate, all agreed his tone was sometimes antagonistic and he again appeared uncomfortable being challenged. Kerry, on the other hand, was viewed as measured and articulate. However, none of the experts touted a clear winner.

2. Kerry was fantastic
THAT was what I was expected last week. Both of his performances were good but last night he was smooth as silk.

W did better last night, but then he couldn't have done worse.

4. Kerry was very solid, very good. Excel. is a term I will use
after the 3d debate. If there is one.

Bush, on the other hand, managed to use words and sentences like never before. He actually completed some this time. BUt you know. It's hard. It's hard.

Shrub was not only angry, but ready for a fist fight. I thought he looked "medicated". I've known lotsa college kids looking like that a week before exams - trying to find what they missed all semester.

3. "...none of the experts touted a clear winner:"
What debate were these so-called 'experts' watching? Did they have the volume up loud enough to hear what the candidates were actually saying?

Here we go again. Bush didn't pick his nose, fart, or begin urinating on spectators, so he gets extra points.

6. Kerry could have performed emergency open heart surgery live on tv
and the pundits still would have not given him any credit.
