Just heard CNN say the repukians are hopeful that Shrub can get off a good one liner like Ronny did against Mondale.

NEWS FLASH!

DIFFERENT TIMES

Troops are dying for this A-hole!

A glib little remark and a smile is not going to make THAT go away.

1. Just remember
We have to take the initiative to drown out that kind of pathetic spinning.
INNUNDATE their stupid online polls, message boards, call centers, email boxes....etc.

3. Bush is no Reagan
I hated the Gipper, but he could deliver a zinger quite effectively.

Bush cannot. He'll stumble, chuckle, and fall flat on his face (hopefully literally). And Kerry will zing back, better.

4. a tale of 2 senile assholes
but reagan was a clever, granfatherly senile asshole, bush is just smug and arrogant.

Reagan usually sparkled at spewing BS in debates, on the stump. That evening against Mondale he was off. Bush is ALWAYS off.

6. I dont think
even Reagan could pull this off tonight against JFK.

Granfatherly assurances don't mean diddly when you can turn on the tv and see the reality of the war, the economy and where this country is going under repukian rule.

5. * can be as folksy and as humorous as he wants to be, but
the point is that our troops are dying daily in this "shooting gallery" with no end in peace.

As an aide, the minute Kerry talks about Poppy, * will have a complete meltdown...faces and all.

Ain't gonna work.
