Can Someone Explain Holograms
to me? I keep hearing about them in reference to 9/11, but without any further information as to how they work or how they were used?

Thanks.

1. In reference to ?
if you want to understand holography, or the holographic universe, you could start here:

just providing a link,

2. That's what I'm not sure about...
is it the airplanes they are talking about?? The buildings? It's just mentioned in a lot of 9/11 posts with the assumption that the reader already knows what you are talking about.

Thanks for the link, I'll check it out!

4. Okay,
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=125x8515

Excerpts:

"I have heard the hologram/missle theory but this video is quite interesting."

"I know Rosalee, who has made the hologram theory alive; She is a great person, and has done so many thousands of hours of work that has been used and recopied, she is, and has become invalubale;"

"The reason I inferred holograms was the way the plane seems to disappear into the building without causing the expected damage, in the slow motion video. What is up with that?"

See? But they don't say what the hologram theory is about.

5. The thing about holograms
Is that light, as I understand it, has to reflect upon something.

6. Personally, just my opinion
take it or leave it.

They have no idea of holograms and the work that it takes to produce one. Not on that thread at least.

just imo.

7. The Hologram Theory
In a nutshell:

The widely-reported and broadcasted impacts of the airliners into WTC 1 and 2 did not, in fact, actually occur. It was all a complex illusion to either hide a fighter aircraft firing a missile(s) into the buildings, or to provide an excuse for the massive explosions on those particular floors.

The theory, as you might guess, has some plausibility problems.

9. Very interesting site!
There's really some great research and ideas in there! I haven't figured out how to relate it to 9/11 yet. The way I think, that insight may take awhile to come to me.

8. Holograms - revealed
Holograms are three-dimensional visualizations in space visible with the naked eye. At present there is only one working technology which I will briefly describe below.

It requires one laser, one photographic plate, a beam splitter and a lot of complicated optics. Basically the beam splitter splits the laser beam into two paths, the optics widen the beam out so that it paints over the object in question and the reflections from the two beams are recorded on the photographic plate. The plate, when viewed under normal light shows a series of patterns - nothing more. When coherent light (ie. laser light or a diffraction grid) is played back through the photographic plate, the observer by turning the plate can view the three-dimensional object from various angles.

Some problems:

  • the photographic plate is visible
  • it only works from certain angles
  • it only works in black and white (at least that I've seen)
  • the image is very dim, requiring a darkened room

As you can see, a holographic image of a jet near the Twin Towers is utter nonsense. Somebody's been watching too much Star Trek.

10. Thanks for filling me in!
There is one thing that I thought was strange though, I watched the whole thing from 20 blocks away and didn't hear a sound when the jets hit the building. I have always wondered why there wasn't more of a noise upon impact.

Anyone have any insight on that phenomenon?
