Listening to bullsh*t on the radio: Released 911 tapes from 9/11

As some of you know the New York Times and several families of 9/11 victims sued the city for the release of tapes and transcripts of calls made to the 911 system on Sept. 11, 2001.

In a bizarre ruling, the court said that only the 911 operators' side of the conversations could be released to the public, because of privacy concerns for the victims. If the family of the victim could be identified, then the family could allow the victim's voice to be heard. Also each victim's family is entitled to a tape that includes both the victim and operator.

WNYC, the public radio station in New York, just finished a talk show in which they played some of the tapes. They are ludicrous. You hear the operator taking the call and giving instructions, but can't hear the victims describing what is going on. When the victim speaks all you hear is a long beep.

As I listen to these fragmented, one sided converstations, I feel that we are once again be lied to and this is part of the coverup.

The point seems to be to make these tapes as useless as possible for future historical research.

It sounds like the tapes are useless as they are right now. I don't understand the need for privacy -- it doesn't make any sense at all.

one of the "scientists" at MIT who actually have done the definitive study of whether tin foil hats are effective in preventing the penetration of invasive governmental radio tranmissions into our brains. They concluded that tin foil hats actually would concentrate, rather than deflect, radio transmissions, if there are any:

4. do the families have unedited copies?

I wonder if it's possible that if family members received unedited copies that they might leak out. I suppose, however, that they couldn't directly come forward without compromising the terms of their settlement with the government.

7. Each family has an unedited recording of their own family member victim

So one family has released the unedited recording to the press. But of the 3000 or so people who died, the City has identified something like 24 people, so only a very small number of unedited recordings will be released.

5. More on the "Disaster Drill" at WTC on 9/11

In a new article in the NYT about these tapes, it again mentions the "disaster drill" scheduled for 9/11 in the WTC:

Just before the south tower collapsed at 9:59 a.m., a spurt of calls reached the 911 operators. One of these was from Shimmy Biegeleisen, who worked for Fiduciary Trust in the south tower on computer systems. He was on the 97th floor where, by chance, an emergency drill had been scheduled for that day.

6. The German "SPIEGEL" HAs More Than Operators

I heard one of the victims. The perverted journalists seem to have more if not all.

More perverted seems to me the eagerness to get this stuff and to publish it.

instead of telling the publich that Bush and Rumsfeld had not even begun at that time to listen to the goat stories or to have breakfast with Senator Cox - knowingly that

- planes were hijacked
- the first one hit already
- there are interceptor jets to intercept, but not yet scrambled
- if these fighter jets were to shoot you need approval from Rumsfeld or Bush


Normally in a crisis situation you meet with your staff to be able to decide responsibly.

Did they know that it would be over with the fourth plane ? How?

Excuse me - but these questions are much more important than perverted listening to voices of victims.

8. It's not perverted ... the point is evidence

When the tapes and transcripts of the fire department were released, a lot of important information for the 9/11 truth movement came out -- namely that several firemen reported "secondary explosions" and that the fires were small and contained.

It seems to me that this is very important and not perverted.
