Release the Pentagon surveillance videos and I might believe you.
Edited on Sat Mar-25-06 02:47 PM by RUMMYisFROSTED
Security concerns. :scared:

We've seen the before video.
We've seen the after video. What possible security explanations are there for withholding the SV's? Presumably, 4 1/2 years later, the issues involved have been addressed (If you're doing your job, he, he, smirk, he).

I'm sure this is the first time this has been posted :D but c'mon!

A plane flying into the Pentagon has as much security risk as a plane flying into the twinn towers. It just is.

The before video shows the structural layout of the building.
The after video shows the structural weaknesses of the building after an attack. Vulnerability has been laid bare. So that can't be an excuse for not releasing the SV's.
So what's the security risk? Help me out.

Release the SV's and you kill two birds with one stone. One kills most legitimate consptheories in one fell swoop. Another lays the basic historical groundwork for all future historical takes on the event. Sounds good all around.

4. I have finally come up with one explanation
for how releasing the videos could impact national security.

Maybe the video cameras are not *real* and they don't want anyone to know that.

You know those fake video cameras people put up to make people think they're being watched?

Of course, that doesn't explain why they didn't release the gas station or hotel footage.

I've learned nothing from this post.

6. That's ok
However, I have read that the government, when responding to the FOIA request for the tapes of the pentagon, said that the gas station and hotel footage did not capture the plane hitting the pentagon.

Which of course raises then the question of why they won't release them.

BTW, that was a joke, about the cameras being fake, but it is the only explanation I can think of

7. It was my understanding that viewings of previous tapes show
that the cameras show that side of the Pentagon perfectly.

I guarantee that one day we will hear that they were accidentally destroyed.

(Sorry for the humor deficiency earlier)

8. My undersstanding is that the excuse for not releasing the
tapes and the black boxes is that they would prejudice the Moussaoui trial.

Which leads to the speculation--maybe the prosecutors are deliberately seeking a mistrial
and a retrial to keep this stuff hidden all the longer.

Have you signed the scholars' petition at st911.org? http://www.st911.org/ (I know, it's a
reservation for the summer camp with the barbwire fence, but think of all the great people you'll
meet there!)

9. 4 1/2 years later
and no release of the gas station video, means only one thing. It has been destroyed.

It was destroyed because it would show that the caveman theory is pure tee bunk.
