Here's a post I just made to the General Politics forum. I've been posting a few of my entries in the works in the past days - those are all part of the new update.
Some of you may know me as the creator of the 9/11 Timeline, which has been turned into the Harper Collins book, the Terror Timeline. As a matter of fact, a big new update of my timeline has just been posted, which you can see here:
http://www.cooperativeresearch.org/searchResults.jsp?events=on&dosearch=Updates&project=911_project&periodlastchanged=June+2005But our webite, the Center for Cooperative Research, has been growing, and we've got all kinds of political timelines now, including a very big on one the decision to go to war with Iraq.
Because of all the recent Downing Street Memo news, we've combined all the most relevant Iraq timeline entries to those memos on one page, which you can see here:
http://www.cooperativeresearch.org/timeline.jsp?timeline=complete_timeline_of_the_2003_invasion_of_iraq&key_events=DSMThat gives the background to see that the DSM didn't come out of the blue, but in fact is just one piece of a larger picture showing that the decision to go to war was made by mid-2002, if not much earlier.
Please check it out and spread the word!
