Who would be interested in protesting the New York Times offices?
Anybody in NYC into the idea of protesting outside the NYT building and trying to shame them into covering 9/11? Let's knock these institutional bastards down a peg by reminding them that their just another part of the fascist corporate media propaganda mill. Lot's of NYT employees probably still have pride in the "journalistic integrity" of their institution--well, let's show them what the fuck is up!

The protest could take many forms. I think the key is to do it for an extended period (legally) and/or to make enough of an impact that the media (NYT or otherwise) have to cover it.

Come on, people, it's time to hit the streets!

1. Sorry, I'm not near NYC.
There are a lot of NY based 9/11 truth groups. I'm sure you could get a group together.

Maybe post this in General Discussion.

But, if there is ever a large 9/11 protest, say more than one thousand people, I will go.

2. Thousands of people should be doing this!
It's just totally scandelous that the NYT completely failed to sponsor any independent journalistic investigation of what really happened in the greatest disaster in the history of their city! They believed official U.S. Gov. propaganda when that was all under the Executive power of the totally lying Bush Administration, can you beleive anyone could be so fatally stupid about something that happened in their own neighborhood?

Well, I'm over a thousand miles away from NYC right now...but I've always said, I WILL go there if there is any chance of making a difference against the fascist 9/11 propaganda coup in the city where I used to work for the great Children's Aid Society of New York. Anyway, I will pass this suggestion on to some 9/11 Truth Movement people in New York.

:pals:

3. i just posted this to GD

Me and a friend stood outside the NYT offices today and handed out 100 of these flyers to employees as they left work. The reaction was generally positive, surprisingly.

It's time to start calling the media out. They're not telling us about the coming environmental and energy crises, about the unanswered questions of 9/11, or about the fascist takeover of our country.

Corporate media does not work. We are going to have to force them to cover these stories or actually co-opt them.

Next time I'm back on my old East Coast stomping ground I'll really try to contact you, the things you do in NYC are VERY worthwhile!

And they know it is the cherry on top, or the pit.

Media/academia and science has disabled us from agreeing, from holding the same perspective in any meaningful way. Even though the religious right is decieved, they at least all beleive the same lie, so that's the way it goes and not much we do seems to matter.

seems

Ghandi was an optimist because he knew that our agreement was just a thought away. Agreement is mental and our true power lies in it. We do not depend on any one to do it to do it. Only the information it is based on. If we go deep enough, suddenly the deceptions do not matter any more.

Our education prevents us from recognizing agreement on that level as valuable because it doesn't address immediate needs, only absolutes and philosophically, we haven't been prepared in our education and our society to realize that the fundamental agreement, the long term agreement, the comprehensive agreement, is the only one we really need to make and it doesn't influence anything but our future.

Keep up the good work, my heart and mind will be with you.
