I am curious as to what sets people apart concerning "being able" or "being open" to questioning the official story. I've noticed that many of those who do believe that 9/11 is a case of government complicity/conspiracy, are pretty nutty and out of the mainstream in the way they look, their demeanor, etc. In fact, I would say that a lot of these people really are "weirdos." I do not mean this in a derogatory way; just that they are not like your "average American." There are many ways you could account for this strangeness, but here I'm looking for any correlation between psychedelic use and these beliefs.

Sorry if anyone finds this offensive or innapropriate. I believe these polls are anonymous? I won't say which group I fall into, but perhaps you can guess.


In the poll I use "elements of the US government were responsible for 9/11" to mean that that 9/11 was planned and executed by these elements.

I tried to hint at that in my post. Normal/Mainstream capitalist America=completely perverted values. So I am not embarassed to be a weirdo and I call others weirdos as a complement. The mainstream social-conditioning brainwashing monolith is essentially evil (it is killing the earth), so we should take pride in being the weirdos, nutcases, aberrations, outsiders in this system.

2. OK, you want a bizarre, but possibly more accurate explanation?

I am open to 9/11 being an inside job because I am a witness to other extremely heinous government misdeeds. Ironically, some of them involved drug testing.

I find this is true of most people I've met in the 9/11 truth movement. They are advocates of or are themselves former victims of government, or at least tax-funded, malfeasance. This is not tin foil hat either, there is a long list of nefarious programs that have been exposed.

In my own defense, I present as quite "normal" in appearance and behavior. (most of the time ;) )

I would like to add that David Ray Griffin looks and behaves pretty mainstream, so maybe your theory just applies to your local group?

I disagree with your premise and mischaracterization. Most of the leading activists who I have met in the 911 Truth Movement are very intelligent and normal looking. The 911 activists who I know are wonderful people who have gone through the looking glass and emerged the better for it.

11. This is a somewhat bothersome line of enquiry, since it can be used

against the "9/11 truth movement".

On the other hand, people who have used psychedelic drugs are usually very open-minded, intelligent and are generally "enlightened". So I think the connection can be seen in a positive light as well.

I certainly disagree that 9/11 truth people are weirdos in the way they look or act.
