Was Flight 93 part of a hijack exercise?

FAA delayed alerting of NEADS on the hijacking of Flight 93

http://911woodybox.blogspot.com/2010/11/was-flight-93-part-of-military-hijack.html

Excerpts:

Since 2002, when Jared Israel was the first one to point out the lame reaction of the US air defense to the hijackings (not being able to intercept leastwise one of the airliners), there's still no satisfying answer to the question for those who were responsible for the fatal delays.

...

The Headquarters and the Command Center were tracking Flight 93 as it turned around and headed toward Washington. They got the information that it was hijacked and had a bomb on board. They knew that two airliners had already been used as guided missiles - yet nobody of the leading FAA personnel bothered to follow Cleveland Center's suggestion and tell NEADS (via Dukelin) to scramble fighters. What was going on there?

Additionally, at 9:45 the FAA issued the general grounding order for all aircraft. Who ordered it? The official story has it that it was Ben Sliney, director of the Command Center, but there are also reports that it was Monte Belger, deputy director of the Headquarters - not to forget that Norman Mineta claims the glory for himself. No matter who was it - why did this hero make the risky, unprecedented, precautionary decision to "get all the birds down", but failed to make the acute, urgent, if well-rehearsed and operationally easy decision to alert NEADS about a hijacked airliner on his way to Washington with a bomb on board?

There seems to be only one realistic recourse: Flight 93 was part of a military exercise, probably a hijack simulation, and the exercise plot included a delayed alerting of NEADS. The behavior of Belger, Sliney & co. indicates that they didn't view the plane as a threat, but were told (possibly from the Secret Service who - according to Mike Ruppert - had direct access to FAA data) that it was a "special", i.e. a military exercise flight. The purpose of the delayed alert might have been to test NEADS - to make it more difficult for them to intercept the flight in time.

1. "truther Logic"
The U.S. military would conduct a live simulation of a hijacking with actual, unwitting passengers. And, of course, none of those passengers would ever sue.

Stupid OP.

9. You never answered this...
This is the mother of all conspiracies; I'd like your take on it. It ties together a lot of loose ends quite nicely except it can't be easy to interweave history and an action story except we do have actual history to go with the story. The snippet below is just that, a snippet. From the link or through Gooooogle you could also find the entire file.

If nothing else, it's a good read...

The Gemstone Files

A SKELETON KEY TO THE GEMSTONE FILES MAY 1, 1975

The gemstone file was written in many segments over a period of years by an American man named Bruce Roberts. Parts of the file were released to certain Americans beginning in 1969. The number of handwritten pages is well over a thousand, of which I have read about four hundred. I do not have the time of the research facilities to verify the entire story. Perhaps others can help.

Since the scope of the work is so large, and the events described so complex and interlocking, it may be more easily understood with this skeleton outline of the gemstone thesis. Individual papers can then be read with greater comprehension.

1932: Onassis, a Greek drug pusher and ship owner who made his first million selling "Turkish tobacco" (Opium) in Argentina, worked out a profitable deal with Joseph Kennedy, Eugene Meyer, and Meyer Lansky. Onassis was to ship booze directly into Boston for Joseph Kennedy. Also involved was a heroin deal with Franklin and Elliott Roosevelt.

1934: Onassis, Rockefeller and the Seven Sisters (major oil companies) signed an agreement, outlined an oil cartel memo: Beat the Arabs out of their oil, ship it on Onassis's ships; Rockefeller and the Seven Sisters to get rich. All this was done.

Roberts, studying journalism and physics at the University of Wisconsin learned these things via personal contacts. His special interest was in crystallography -- and the creation of synthetic rubies, the original Gemstone experiment.

1936-1940: Eugene Meyer buys the Washington Post, to get our news Media; other Mafia buy other papers, broadcasting, T.V., etc. News censorship of all major news goes into effect...

12. agreed

there's plenty of evidence for Flight 93 being an exercise, the 9:16 notification time for instance, and I'm completely with you in your argumentation.

The focus of my article is not Flight 93, however. The focus is the role of the military FAA liaisons in working the exercises. And that FAA top managers were able to shortcut the "hijack protocol" (informing NMCC, DoD, etc.) by simply allowing Cleveland Center to tell NEADS to scramble fighters.

19. did you look into the witnessed Flight 93 tarmac boarding?
A football player was on a plane sitting on the tarmac next to Flight 93 and saw passengers boarding it from the tarmac which conflicts with the official story that those passengers boarding from the jetway.

10. Maybe 9-11 itself was the "military exercise"
Seems to me I saw some declassified document about hitting multiple targets in the US somewhere.

11. really?
"Seems to me I saw some declassified document about hitting multiple targets in the US somewhere."
You sure do say things like "I think I saw" or "I thought I heard" or "seems to me" in most of your posts.
Care to actually produce some sort of link to what "seems to me I saw"?

I don't go to much trouble on this forum because the good stuff all gets buried under "Alien Invasion" and JKF conspiracy threads...At least someone could do one on MLK.

18. There is a great deal of confusion
Edited on Wed Nov-24-10 08:40 PM by BeFree
Even Bush seems confused.

He has said that he thought the jet was shot down on his order.

So.... the DoD was given an order to shoot it down. Did DoD shoot it down?

Imagine if that idea - shot down - was common knowledge today and then imagine the shitstorm.

Like every other facet of that day, it makes little sense. In fact, all of it added together makes
little sense.
