Obama has escalated the Afghanistan war and has maintained the Iraq war, and was awarded the Nobel peace prize.

Kennedy sought true long-lasting peace, was killed and was never awarded the Nobel peace prize.

His poll numbers will rise, at least among Democrats, immediately after the State of the Union address, in which he's almost
certain to toss out a few goodies to liberals.
