1. But it did fly that fast.
A cartoon plane can fly at all kinds of ridiculous speeds.

2. We have been over this before.
They most certainly can. Though it is not recommended.

13. Yes.
Aeronautical engineers being asked misleading questions and answering 'off the cuff' can be quoted in such a way as to give a misleading answer. I am shocked I tell ya shocked.

8. not 540 mph, that's for sure
and not by an amateur!

I would guess 300 mph at best.

11. Actually, disregard that
I just realised, since they didn't find the black boxes from either of the planes that hit the twin towers, you're relying on the percieved "TV fakery" to give you an idea of the speed in the first place.

And then we're back at the Pentagon, where the FDR found inside the Pentagon allegedly proved that the flight didn't hit the Pentagon :eyes:

10. In a very rapid descent from 20,000 feet at max power
I don't think it was a problem.

I agree that at level flight for an extended time it would not be possible to maintain that speed. But pulling out of a dive, that speed is not going to bleed of very quickly.

12. +1 - The calls in the video completely neglected to point out the dive.
They talked a lot about how the engines could not produce enough thrust... but at least one of the engineers kept pointing out that the mach number wasn't that bad and gave an example of a plane exceeding the speed discussed because of a dive.

This BS has been debunked over and over and over. Time for the 'truth movement' to start slamming anyone who makes such a ridiculous argument. Even the creationists at AIG have abandoned some arguments are stupid. Time for 9-11 CTs to catch up.
