2. And your point is?
Maybe you should have one before you begin a thread.

4. While I applaud your ability to count...
I'm not sure exactly what or why you are counting. Perhaps you could share that after you tell me what the point of this thread is.

8. Who was claiming the opposite?
As far as I know, nobody. We call this a strawman. It's not like the point your making hasn't been completely obvious for quite some time. For fuck's sake - the WTC north tower had a significant fire in 1975 yet didn't collapse.

6. As usual embellishment is working over time
A fire broke out at 52-floor Cyber World Building on Ratchada Pisek Road early Wednesday, causing heavy traffic congestion in the area.

Police said the fire broke out on the 17th floor at 3 am and quickly spread to higher floors.

Fire engines took about an hour to control the blaze. Fire fighters could enter the building at about 4 am.

Police closed the section of the road from Rama IX Intersection to Huay Kwang Intersection, leading to traffic snarls in the area. The road was opened at about 6 am to try to alleviate the congestion.

Deputy Bangkok Governor Wallop Suwandee said the building was under construction so there was no one inside when the fire started.

Notice the fire was under control in an hour. Firemen were able to enter within the hour. Fire did not include all floors.

14. For anyone who is curious...

this link has some good photos of the towers before, during and after the fire. I browsed through the thread but couldn't find a description of the structure, although it appears to be steel. Kind of a cursed building.

On Edit: Somebody on the thread I linked to says that the protective plastic sheeting on the exterior was what burned.

On Edit2: If anybody can read Thai, I'd like to know what says. It appears they are talking about the construction of the building and the fire but I can't read Thai and can't find a converter.
