Since 2002, I have sent in corrections to print and media news organzations over their shameful coverage of September 11th issues. I also send corrections to the 9/11media which has sprung up. It's pretty hard to maintain credibility as a "truth" movement if you are spreading demonstrably false claims. Nevertheless, 9/11 website editors are about as intractable and infallible as their corporate counterparts.

Fairy even-handed op-ed from a truther, who laments over the continued use of false claims by the truth movement.

1. There's another problem with the WTC7 story that's not explained here.

There is no way to fit into a narrative of the event.

Was this (alleged) demolition part of the great 911 plot that brought down the Twin Towers? Or was it a secondary plot for the insurance money? It just doesn't fit either way.

The Truthers, characteristically, don't even try to create a coherent story. This one just hangs out there limply.

It survives for two reasons:
1. Since most people never heard of WTC7, they will listen to stories about its collapse despite not being hit by airplanes.
2. It's part of the anti-semitic narrative without that being obvious to the uninitiated.

Some people, and its on video, I linked to it in another thread... were cleared away while being told the building was about to "blow up".

You wish for evidence? So do I. So does everyone here. The fact that the vast majority of evidence was removed under military guard while most Americans assumed the crime scene was being properly investigated by the NTSB and by FEMA . . . . well, that is evidence in itself.

The Kean Commission, then the NIST panel, were both commissioned to investigate this crime. In particular, the NIST was charged with the task of examining the facts and providing the American public with a thorough explanation of how three buildings could have come down in a way that mimicked controlled demolition in every detail.

The heart and soul of any such investigation would have at its beginning and its end the detailed, thorough and microscopic examination of a representative number of structural failure points. The detailed examination of even a few mere hundreds of failed connectors would have told us exactly how those buildings failed.

The NIST's Final Report states that they were provided with more than 200 sections of steel from the wreckage. In point of fact, this is all that was left after FEMA and city officials were finished with their criminal destruction of the 186,000 tons of evidence that originally existed.

(I'm not for one minute suggesting that all of that wreckage should have been preserved . . . but why was ALL OF IT hauled away so swiftly, even as firefighters cried - literally - that the remains of their fallen comrades were being hauled away with it?)

Of that remaining steel - of those remaining 200 pieces - how many failed structural points did the NIST examine? Did they examine a few hundred? No. Did they examine a few dozen? No. Did they examine a single failed weld? A single failed bolt? A single specimen of residue from the steel?

No. At least, there is nothing in the Final Report to indicate that a single failed bolt was ever even looked at.

Well then. Did the NIST at least preserve this precious little remaining evidence for examination by independent peers outside the Bush administration? No. It was all destroyed.

So . . . . you want evidence? Perhaps the willful destruction of that evidence is all that you - or we - require.

Can people try and fit "anti-semitic" into a 9/11 thread?

So Silverstein is getting it in the neck because of anti-semitism?

How about its because people suspect he was involved in the collapse of the building instead?

You know - Jewish people do bad things sometimes as well like everyone else.
