My husband came up with a Conspiracy Theory Re: Saddam

And since most of his posts get ignored here, He made me post it.
Here it is:
The same dill holes who put him into power are in power now, you know, Cheney, formerly Rummy, et al. Saddam did them a favor, made them a ton of money, so instead of executing him like they say they did, they faked his death, killing one of his doubles instead, and then they whisked him off to some tropical island to let him live in the lap of luxury until he dies.
What do you think? I wouldn't put anything past those ass wipes. But I know that Bush the JR wanted to avenge his father...Whatever. Anyway...Thoughts, comments?

And I am certain that, our government put him into power, our government knew and condoned the people he killed back in 1981 (or was it 1982?) and either (a) he really isn't dead and they killed a double and hid his ass, or (b) they really did kill him because he could not be allowed to divulge what he knew.

He really didn't get to talk at his trial and they kept killing his lawyers off, it was hardly fair.

What incentive, drugs, blackmail, etc. did they use on the "double" to ensure his co-operation in the charade all the way up to the point of the physical hanging. If it was your job to pose as a double, how far would you carry it without, at some point close to your death, letting someone know they have the wrong guy? Loyalty to Sadaam? Who knows. It's one thing to play a double for a leader(dictator) of a country, and it's another to die for him. Just an observation. Thanks.

Reasons for war that destroyed Iraq and has so far killed something between 100,000 and half a million people: completely made up. We're talking about planning and waging an unprovoked war of aggression, the worst possible crime in the tradition of international law, with a resultant mass murder of civilians and the destruction of an ecosphere. Entirely based on obvious lies broadcast and upheld before billions of witnesses.

Saddam "spider hole" capture: completely staged. (Double or not, caught by Kurds two weeks earlier and handed over to Americans for the hole show.)

So now, anyone who thinks they "know" whether or not that's Saddam, or whether there was a real hanging of a real person, is simply engaging in wishful thinking. Anyone who sneers at such speculation in the delusion of being a "skeptic" is furthermore an arrogant, insecure ass.
