Check out this interesting and detailed blog that just came up!
http://fortherecordessays.blogspot.com/

This has some fascinating information from a number of sources! Skimming it, it looks like some of the later chapters in there have some pretty interesting facts on stuff directly tied to 9/11.
Its worth a read-rather long and dense but definitely worth checking out I think.

1. Jesus H. Christo: does that mean any post that has that date in it somewhere

will automatically be sent HERE? How do "they" know it isn't a CT'er blog, praising Dear Leader boosh and calling for the beheading of all M.E. males?

I bookmarked it and will read later, although I started. It looks kind of Dr. DeBug-ish, I love it, thanks, I'm getting sick of the same old stuff.

7. what a terrible mess

a "hastily made jumble of information and speculation" indeed, as the author says himself.

Is this supposed to be the complete history of covert cooperation between (neo-)Nazis and "islamo-fascists" throughout the last century or something?

Did the author make a web search with the key words "extremism", "militant", "fascist", "islamist" and put together all s/he could find in one heap?

Judging from a few samples I know something about, this collection of news items is not helpful to get anywhere.

E. g. in part three, a German, Horst Mahler, is cited as proof for an "alliance between Islamists and extremists". The blogger then goes on to describe how the RAF (left wing guerilla) cooperated with the PFLP (not "Islamists"), that Mahler later converted from left wing radical to neo-fascism (a process that took some 20 years and is a one-time exception - none of the other RAF members ever symphathized with right-wingers) and later mentions as further proof for the Islamist-extremist alliance that "certainly the events of Sept. 11 produced fits of joy among some members of the European far right, according to groups that monitor hate speech."

BTW, Mahler is also a "no-planer" and has stated on TV that "the Jews did it". So, the obvious conclusion - to me, at least - seems to be that Mahler may have been recruited at some point by the German Verfassungsschutz. Or maybe he is just way out there and likes to provoke other people, who knows.

But to use him as an example for left-right or east-west alliances among militants/extremists is a little reaching, I think.

8. I agree...
...and I'm the bastard that wrote the thing :dunce:. You're correct in that I threw an excessive amount of information and links into these essays and made some pretty stupid and careless mistakes like the one that you pointed out. I am also by no means an expert on this topic...I've read some books on it and listened to a hundred or so shows from Dave Emory's http://wfmu.org/playlists/DX">"For the Record" series, so any input or insight from the folks here would be much appreciated. And for the record (ok, that was bad), I'm not asserting a left-right or east-west extremist alliance. Horst Mahler's shift to far-right and Nazi financier Francois Genoud's friendship with PFLP leaders could have simply been circumstantial. Perhaps once you get extreme enough it starts to come full circle? Who knows? I don't. And I would agree that there's a decent chance that German intelligence has some sort of relationship with Mahler http://www.guardian.co.uk/Archive/Article/0,4273,4480651,00.html">if this 2002 report is accurate.

However, I do disagree with the casual dismissal of a historical alliance between radical Islamists, Nazis, corporatist fascists, and other types of authoritarian ideologies. It would kind of be like dismissing the connections between the Bush family and the Nazis. Or the extreme Christian Right and fascist elements. Or the Intelligence community's ties with fascists and ex-Nazis. Or its relations with radical Islamists, for that matter. It's all a piece of the same thuggish puzzle. Why not explore the topic a bit and see what's there?

And if you couldn't care less about the fascists/Islamist connection, you still might find parts 8 - 13 kind of interesting. They go more into arms trafficking, shell banks, money-laundering, some of the ways the Abramoff/Norquist crew ties into Ptech, and a few of the investigative "anomalies" regarding terrorism before and after 9/11. A lot of it will be review for you folks here, plenty will be circumstantial and irrelevant, but you might be surprised by some of the stuff you find. I'M HUGH SERIES!1!11 ;-)

11. Thanks!
And keep in mind that the target audience is people that basically subscribe the standard view that Islamic terrorists are largely small groups of independent operators (and I suspect there is a strong element of truth to that at the lower levels), so there's a reason the first 8 1/2 chapters dwell so much on the topic of the various Jihadist movements. I also think it is rather invaluable for 9/11 researchers to explore the Muslim Brotherhood/Islamist/Persian Gulf-financing side of things as closely as we can. It a major piece of the puzzle.

I look forward to some feedback. Thanks again!

13. Here's some more
I haven't had time to look this over yet, but I think the Al Taqwa Bank is an incredibly important thing to understand. And much to my shock, it does go back to the Nazis in some startling ways. Earlier this year I made a bunch of entries about it and I hope to do more research along these lines, esp. of connections between the Muslim Brotherhood and Western intelligence:

http://www.cooperativeresearch.org/timeline.jsp?timeline=complete_911_timeline&financing_of_al-qaeda:_a_more_detailed_look=taqwa

They're a subsection of terrorism finance, which can be seen here:

http://www.cooperativeresearch.org/timeline.jsp?timeline=complete_911_timeline&geopolitics_and_9/11=terrorismFinancing

These money issues are complicated and hard to understand, but it's worth it to look this material over. As the saying goes, if you want to understand something, follow the money.

16. kick...
Thanks ftr23532 for your efforts!
I hope the new leaders in congress will finally find out how this terrible tragedy was allowed to happen and why!
We must pressure them and inform them of all the little details that clearly show that something is very wrong with the OCT and demand answers to these questions.
