?Preventive Warriors.?
The document outlines a radical new doctrine in American foreign policy: one of so-called ?pre-emptive warfare.? The Bush administration used this policy as a justification for the invasion of Iraq.

Chilling if you are not prepared for the responsibility or the power that resides in your vote.

1. Nice post
It always amazes me that our country did not even debate this huge change -the press did not even question this policy-this was a radical approach indeed which was wrong on some many levels-now the country reaps its lack of concern over this foul policy

2. Gore Vidal just said the other day on DemocracyNow! that...
the Republic ended with the Congressional approval of the power of the president ot launch war without them, among other things such as the Patriot Act. After some thought, I completely agree, and let the fight to reclaim our democracy begin.

4. Saw The
Program and was impressed. He also said something to the effect that Gore didn't fit the mold of his relatives in the Gore family and then Gore's speech seemed to respond to Vidal's critique.

Thought that program was very down to earth and informative.

3. Not On
The radar screen. I think that the emphasis is on party politics and not on policy.
In the meantime the rest of the world is watching and adjusting to the new rules, which to me appears to be very frightening. I thought we had gone through mutual destruction in the sixties. But I guess not.

6. Well They
Are there, but I think it is more towards China.
Before 911 there was an incident with China that I think everyone took as an accident at the time. I look back to May/June 2001 and remember the incident where China became involved with the military plane that went down. I think the view is more to China. My look on things.
Especially when one sees that the new policy is to prevent anyone from assuming a power of equals.
