Police are looking into Palestinian reports of riots in Arab Hebron neighborhoods that included attacks on local residents, homes, and businesses.
The violence began Saturday evening, after a Palestinian was beaten up by several settlers at a hitchhiking post. However, the situation seemed to get out of hand Sunday morning, after reports that another victim from Friday’s attack, 16-year-old Aviad Mantsur, died from his wounds.
Shortly afterwards, Hebron settlers began burning Palestinian-owned stores and businesses in the city and targeting Palestinian residents."
