Ambulances transport Israeli troops
From correspondents in Jerusalem
March 30, 2005

THE Israeli army uses ambulances to move troops and weapons in operations against Palestinians, a violation of the Geneva Conventions, according to a private television station.

The 10 station's report today included interviews with several reserve soldiers whose faces were blocked out to protect their identity.

"I and other members of my unit saw soldiers with their weapons, bulletproof vests and helmets climbing into military ambulances," one of the reservists said

1. What Geneva Conventions -- they have been tossed out
according to the bushie gang.

Isn't interesting how one group does what they accuse the other of doing. Seems like the Israelis refuse to allow women in labor in ambulances because well gee who knows what else might be in the ambulance. Now we learn that it is the Israeli ambulances that should be watched.

6. Any violation of the rules regarding the display of the ICRC symbols,
Edited on Thu Apr-14-05 07:46 PM by Coastie for Truth
and any violation of the laws regarding Unauthorized "Code 3" use of "Code 3" vehicles (flashing lights and sirens) is serious.

But, like Tom DeLay's defense - "Everybody Does It." In my home town a cop (white shirt "Inspector") used to take his kids to school in a police car - flashing lights and siren - for a thrill.

And, routinely, "Code 3" vehicles are driven under "Code 3" conditions to take City Council people to fire scenes to "politic."

As to tactical transport of combatants in an ICRC labeled vehicle. That is forbidden. The practical punishment is that you effectively lose ICRC Geneva Convention protection for your other ICRC labeled assets.

Like Tom DeLay says in his own defense (the "Texas Politician Defense") "Everybody does it - so it must not be wrong." As my mother used to say "If everyone jumped off the bridge - would you jump off the bridge?"

BTW - as to checking ambulances (Delusional, post #1; Igil, post #3) - I have never been involved in checking ambulances in a tactical situation -- but I have been a volunteer (CERT Citizens Corps, Red Cross, ARES/RACES) at hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, tornadoes. The National Guard MPs do spot check ambulances for contraband, drugs, booze, looters. So - don't even try to use an ambulance to sneak booze or meth into a hurricane area, or looted booty out.
