"Members of the Courage to Refuse movement demonstrations at the Kissufim and Karni crossings in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday.

Some 20 members of the organization, established by a group of reserve officers and combat soldiers who refused to do military reserve service in the territories, held up pictures of the six IDF soldiers killed in Tuesday's bomb attack on an armored personnel carried in Gaza.

"We came here to tell the public that (Tuesday's) attack was Gaza's Helicopter Disaster (a reference to the death of 73 soldiers when two helicopters collided mid-air in the north of the country in 1997)," said David Zonshein of the group. He said that Tuesday's tragedy would be a turning point ahead of Israel's withdrawal from the Gaza Strip.

During the demonstration, Arik Diamant, the director-general of the organization, went up to soldiers from the Givati brigade and said, "We only came to say that we salute you and appreciate you and want to get you out of here as quickly as possible." The soldiers killed Tuesday were also from Givati."
