Army Radio: Still unclear if blast in Shmuel Hanavi neighborhood caused by suicide bomber or explosive device.

1. GabysPoppy, you posted this at shortly after 2:30pm
We all know what has taken place, by now. Is anything more important, today, than this, in the I/P forum? This is probably the worst atrocity to take place in years; close to 20 people have been killed; it could derail the road map. Is nobody else aware of how important this is?

2. importance
First comes anger and sorrow, then meaning. But I think the Arabs were never serious to begin with so this is just the final nail in the coffin.

3. There's a few threads here about it...
I've just scrolled down in between the ads on Law & Order and there's quite a few. Last night/today has been a bad day for attacks, what with this one in Jerusalem and the one in Iraq. I was listening to Radio National on the way home tonight and someone pointed out that the UN in Iraq turned themselves into a soft target because they refused to be penned in behind fences and walls. The same person asked how someone could get onto a bus with ultra-orthodox Jews and not stand out from the crowd. The easy answer to that one is that they probably disguised themselves as one, but the real problem was that while people are usually patted down before they get on a bus in Israel, ultra-orthodox Jews have refused to let themselves be patted down, and in this case with what must have been a chartered bus, they ended up turning themselves into the same soft targets as the UN in Iraq did. Sucks, hey? It's so sad that babies and kids are yet again victims in a conflict that they have no idea about :(

Violet...
