Former Terrorist To Speak Here
Walid Shoebat was a one-time Palestine Liberation Organization member who printed fliers, organized anti-Israel demonstrations and confronted Israeli troops. He was also at one time part of a mob that came close to lynching a beaten Israeli soldier. And he came close to blowing up an Israeli bank.

Next Wednesday, March 17, at 7 p.m. Baltimore will have an opportunity to hear from a man whose outlook has changed dramatically. Now, Mr. Shoebat speaks against Arab anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism. His message, one that he's delivering all over the country, is about Israel's right to exist and the anti-Semitism he sees in the Arab world.

Mr. Shoebat will receive the Defender of Israel Award at Suburban Orthodox-Toras Chaim Congregation. The event is sponsored by Baltimore-based Jewish radio show "Shalom USA," in conjunction with the Religious Zionists of America-Baltimore District, Peace Through Truth Inc., the Israel Action Committee of Suburban Orthodox Congregation, Barbara Ann and Leonard Bloom, and Dr. Morton and Toby Mower.

Would the Arab world benefit from more like Walid Shoebat? I think you know the answer.
