Israel army kills Palestinian teenager in Gaza Strip
Channel News Asia

GAZA CITY : Israeli troops shot dead a Palestinian teenager near a Jewish settlement in the Gaza Strip, Palestinian medical sources said.

Khaled Madi, 16, was shot in the back by soldiers as he was working in a field belonging to his family near the settlement of Morag in the southern Gaza Strip, the sources and witnesses said Monday.

20. Do you really think
that you know what the situation there was? No way to know what someone actually was doing when "working in his field" is reported. When events happen in this context, one really wonders if it isn't an excellent idea to separate the Palestinians from their fields.

More humane treatment.
More restraint by the glorious IDF.

And I quote - "The loss of life you see now is insignificant compared to what would be if the IDF were as vindictive as you say. "

Word.

4. Here - let me sum up the responses.
1) The source is not reliable.
2) The kid was probably engaged in suspicious activity
2a) Did you see the photographs of the kids with guns
3) If the terrorists did not operate in this area, this would not happen
4) Sometimes kids are trained as terrorists
5) Collateral damage
6) If the IDF rally let loose, there would be more people dead
7) WHo remembers X___________ (insert terrorist victim here)
8) If the wall was finished, this wouldn't happen (stop resisting the wall)
9) Rachel Corrie was a terrorist sympathizer.
10) Here's a more reliable source (IDF monthly)
11) repeat

How many illegal nukes do they have?

Israeli nukes = good

Iranian nukes = bad

Regardless of party, don't worry about Israel. The K Street Israeli lobby will protect Israel no matter what they do (spy on us with Pollard, attacking the USS Liberty, violate UN resolutions, human rights abuses, robbing Palestinian banks, apartheid rule of occupied territories, etc...)

Israel is governed by right wing terrorists. Alert me for speaking the truth.

42. From Qibya to Beirut: Ariel Sharon's Bloody Record
THE TERRORIST'S RETURN: THE CRIMES OF SHARON.

Some incorrigible optimists have suggested that only a right-wing extremist of the notoriety of Likud leader Ariel Sharon will have the credentials to broker any sort of lasting settlement with the Palestinians. Maybe so. History is not devoid of such examples. But Sharon?

Sharon's history offers a monochromatic record of moral corruption, with a documented record of war crimes going back to the early 1950s. He was born in 1928 and as a young man joined the Haganah, the underground military organization of Israel in its pre-state days. In 1953 he was given command of Unit 101, whose mission is often described as that of retaliation against Arab attacks on Jewish villages. In fact, as can be seen from two terrible onslaughts, one of them very well known, Unit 101's purpose was that of instilling terror by the infliction of discriminate, murderous violence not only on able bodied fighters but on the young, the old, the helpless.

66. Is the Israeli Government a reliable source for you
A 1983 Israeli investigation found that Mr Sharon - as defence minister of the Israeli forces - was indirectly though personally responsible for the massacres.

I think if an Israeli investigation showed a patricular Palestinian as "indirectly although PERSONALLY responsible for suicide bombings that would be enough to consider him a terrorist don't you?

I don't really know what else to call someone who orchestrated the slaughter of men women and children, I'm funny that way

Fucking typical. The most impoverished, down-trodden, powerless, disenfranchised, uneducated, poorly organized are expected by the 'powers that be' to exact change, while Israel and her all-powerful IDF cannot - regardless of how much money and arms the USA pours in.

Ridiculous notion.

14. Israeli Soldiers Kill 2 Palestinians with Same Name
http://www.reuters.com/newsArticle.jhtml?type=worldNews&storyID=4522486

<snip>

"Israeli troops shot and killed a Palestinian grocer and a teenage student -- both carrying the same name -- in separate incidents in the West Bank and Gaza Strip on Monday."

<snip>

"Palestinian security sources said Khaled Madi, 16, was helping his father in the family fields in southern Gaza during a school holiday when Israeli soldiers opened fire on them killing the boy. Medics said Madi was shot in the head."

<snip>

"Later on Monday, Israeli undercover soldiers shot dead a 30-year-old Palestinian grocer in the West Bank town of Salfit while trying to arrest a man suspected of being a member of a militant group linked to Palestinian President Yasser Arafat's Fatah movement.

Medics said the grocer, also named Khaled Madi, was one of three people wounded in the incident, including the suspected militant, and that he died of a critical gunshot wound to the abdomen while on the way to hospital."
