srael's detention of thousands of Palestinians, the vast
majority arrested during the 33 months of fighting, is
threatening the week-old cease-fire. Israel has agreed
to release only a few hundred; the Palestinians want a
mass release.

no need to clog up the courts with people who have no
rights anyway, it would just confuse everybody.
