Arafat storms out of Fatah council meeting
Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat stormed out of a meeting of his Fatah movement Thursday evening after getting into a shouting match with a senior security aide, Israel Radio reported.

According to the report, a furious Arafat left the Fatah Revolutionary Council meeting that was to discuss reforms in security matters.

During Thursday's meeting, Arafat security aide Nasser Yusouf expressed doubt in regard to the effectiveness of Palestinian security forces as long as there is no reform in the security bodies. According to the report, Arafat hurled a microphone at Yusouf, while the security aide threw a pen at the PA Chairman in response. The two exchanged a series of curses, with Arafat ultimately leaving the meeting.

The Fatah ballot should take place every five years but the
last was held 15 years ago.

2. Arafat first?
"We walked outside, Ben-Gurion accompanying us. Allon repeated his question, 'What is to be done with the Palestinian population; Ben-Gurion waved his hand in a gesture which said 'Drive them out!'? Yitzhak Rabin, leaked censored version of Rabin memoirs, published in the New York Times, 23 October 1979; Rabin's description of the conquest of Lydda, after the completion of Plan Dalet.

4. Difficult to have an election under military occupation
Regardless, Israel doesn't want the Palestinians to have further elections, because Arafat would win, and the terrorist groups would gain a larger foothold.

5. Just a reminder
that this is the same Fatah that killed the Israeli couple yesterday. (The al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades are a part of this organization)

I point this out for those people who try to cover up that Arafat is still the head of one of the most active terrorist groups. (Any wonder why he doesn't ever arrest anyone for blowing up Israeli children? Conflict of interest.)

6. I'll just take a guess
that you're equally upset that Sharon isn't arresting those troops who are blowing up Palestinian children?
