Israeli troops shot and killed a man who infiltrated across the Lebanese border into Israel early Tuesday, the Israeli army said.

Lebanese security officials said the man was a shepherd who was killed on Lebanese territory.

Security officials in southern Lebanon identified the man as Ali Mohammed Mustafah, 22, and said he was a shepherd.

They said he was shot and killed by Israeli troops on Lebanese territory, just west of the Wazzani river.
