Pope condemns West Bank fence in meeting with Qureia
http://www.haaretzdaily.com/hasen/spages/393648.html

<snip>

"Pope John Paul II repeated his previous criticism of the West Bank fence during a meeting Thursday with Palestinian Prime Minister Ahmed Qureia in the Vatican.

"No one must yield to the temptation of discouragement, let alone to hatred or retaliation. It is reconciliation that the Holy Land needs: forgiveness not revenge, bridges not walls," said the pope in a brief address to Qureia after a five-minute private audience.

The pontiff urged all leaders in the region to follow, with the help of the international community, "the path of dialogue and negotiation which leads to lasting peace."

In his remarks, John Paul recalled his 2000 pilgrimage to the Holy Land and his prayers "for peace and justice in the region."

1. Tell the Pope to get out of his PopeMobile
and in an open car drive have someone drive him from the sea to the Jordonian border and lets see how long he lives and where he dies. Come on Pope, what are you afraid of? I dare you!

2. Or he should visit
the OT and see what Palestinians have to put up daily because of the IDF and Israel's policies like many humanitarian workers do. No wonder Israel has such a bad image in the rest of the world...
