Will Israel and Palestine Become Members of EU?
The idea to reward Israel and Palestine with closer integration with EU in return for peace brought about the issue of granting full membership to these countries. Israeli Labor Party Leader Shimon Peres said; EU has already become a Mediterranean union by including Malta and Cyprus. Meanwhile, Palestinians, citing the examples of Turkey and Cyprus, desires to attain full membership.

Some circles from Palestine argue that a final and lasting peace can be attained not through pressures, rather through incentives, which include full membership to EU.

An interesting idea. Sadly, it will do no good so long as Palestinian leadership is determined to destroy Israel.

2. ME part of EU
Well almost. They will have their own union. The EU is just one of them. Six are planned. The EU and Americas are on schedule. Search the web for World Union and WTO..information.

Palestine isn't destroying Israel. Neo Cons who want World Union are doing it. A few elite men with power and profit in mind. They are using war and terrorism to gain an agenda.

That seems to be a Palestinian terror tactic.

6. Palestinian terror tactic?
No...the World Union for power and profit. The people of the region are victims. Bush refuses to meet with Arafat..so he ain't one of them.

10. They strap bombs to the oil trade
...and put our soldiers in the line of fire for said oil.

Frankly, neither practice deserves an air of institutional legitimacy.

8. Is Israel joined the EU
wouldn't that solidify the Arabs impression that Israel is a colony of the West?

Just a thought.

9. Why not
The more the merrier. First, they have to become friends, and behave themselves. I thought Israel didn't like Europe!
