British detectives won't be part of investigation into death of ISM activist (Full title of article)

"The paper reported that members of Hurndall's family were hoping that a team from Scotland Yard's serious crime directorate would be allowed to travel to Israel to interview soldiers involved in the incident, as well as witnesses. His family have said they hope an Israeli soldier accused of shooting Hurndall will be charged with murder.

Shuli Davidovitch, Israel's spokesman in Britain, was quoted in the Daily Telegraph as saying that, "No one will be allowed to interfere in the course of Israeli justice. There has been a thorough and independent investigation into the shooting and charges have been brought."

The Hurndall family believes that the Israeli decision confirms their view that there has been a cover-up, the paper reported. His mother, Jocelyn, said: "I think this makes it very difficult to trust any decision that is made by the Israeli government."
