French flotilla boat sets sail for Gaza

A French boat has set sail for Gaza from Corsica in the latest attempt by activists to deliver aid to the Palestinian territory, according to a journalist aboard the vessel.

The Dignite al Karama, which left the western Mediterranean island overnight is, thus far, the only boat in a flotilla organised by pro-Palestinian activists to successfully sail for Gaza, with most confined to ports in Greece.

The vessel's passengers include Olivier Besancenot, head of the New Left Party in France, French politician and member of the European Parliament Nicole Kiil-Nilsen, and other well-known French personalities.

"We are about 20 minutes from international waters, and when we arrive there, the organisers on the boat will decide what their next move is," Quentin Girard, a journalist with the French newspaper Liberation, told Al Jazeera from aboard the boat.

Israel has a draft that is easy to get out of...so basically its a volunteer force made up of 70% of the population....and the fact there is an active reserve service, its reasonable to say that its more than just simple kids in the army....

so if you're going to indict the IDF as a terrorist organization, you might as well as include 70% of the israeli population....i.e. most of the country.

to separate the population/citizens from the govt and its security forces....and it may work in the larger countries, but not in the very very small ones, where the majority actually serve as "terrorist" in the army.

if the IDF is terrorists, its only reasonable that the people who serve in the IDF are terrorists...and thats most of israel....

I take none of this shit seriously, its been fucked up since I started paying attention in 1967. It will never change so to me, its one big fucking joke with the Palestinians as the punchline.
Israel will never do the right thing so why bother ranting about it? There is no point to it.

(I will not go as far to say though that nuking the flotilla from space is not something the IDF has considered, they can and do get away with everything)
