RPT-Israel releases former U.S. congresswoman - group

"WASHINGTON, July 6 (Reuters) - Israel has allowed a former U.S. congresswoman to return home days after detaining her and other activists on board a ship carrying relief supplies for Gaza, a pro-Palestinian group said on Monday.

Israeli authorities intercepted the vessel, which had 21 activists on board, on June 30 and said it would not be permitted to enter Gaza's coastal waters because of security risks in the area and an existing naval blockade.

Cynthia McKinney has been released but Israel is still holding the 20 others, including another American by the name of John Judge, a statement by the American Muslims for Palestine said. It described Judge as a congressional staff member but gave no details.

Hizbollah wants the whole of Lebanon, and then some.

And the US media? They regaled us with days of Michael Jackson while there were deadly riots in Xianjian province, and deadly shootings in Tegucigalpa. Not one word about former Congressperson Cynthia McKinney being held in an Israeli shit hole.

I don't think I can handle anymore of this "Change You Can Believe In."
