Haniyeh Tells Palestinians "Victory is Near"
Source: Reuters

GAZA, Dec 31 (Reuters) - Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh sounded a defiant tone in a televised speech to Palestinians on Wednesday saying that the Islamist group that controls the Gaza Strip will win the fight against Israel.

"We tell the Palestinian people in Gaza and everywhere that you will win, inevitably. Victory is near, God willing, and it is closer than people think," Haniyeh said.

4. When victory is another
PR blow at Israel. Did he thank all those civilians who conveniently got killed to make this victory possible?

6. It doesn't matter how many civilians are killed
Haniyeh uses civilians as collateral in his political war.

It has never been about statehood or occupation, let's just be clear about that.

8. Israel Always Shoots Themselves In The Foot
Killing civilians and blaming terrorists for not assembling at a predetermined battlefield is a tired tactic. It's even more tired considering that bombing civilians and government targets has NEVER WORKED. Unless getting Hamas to get elected in the first place counts as "victory."
