US Representative Garrett Proposes Resolution Condemning Kassam Attacks
(RTTNews) - Wednesday, US Representative Scott Garrett of New Jersey proposed a resolution condemning the continuous firing of Kassam rockets by Palestinian terrorists on Israeli civilian communities.

In a statement Garrett said, Palestinian terrorists have fired more than 420 rockets and mortar shells since January 1 of this year at Israeli communities living in Sderot and Ashkelon resulting in huge damage and casualties among the residents of these areas.

The quality of life of the Israeli people has dramatically decreased in these targeted areas. It is essential that Congress work to help the peace-loving people of Israel and the Palestinian territories end these aggressive designs.

Garrett went on to say that he would "continue to fight" to ensure that Islamic terrorist organizations like Hamas and the Islamic Jihad are held responsible for these attacks along with countries like Iran and Syria that support these terrorist.

1. Wow, condemning terrorism?
In a statement Garrett said, Palestinian terrorists have fired more than 420 rockets and mortar shells since January 1 of this year at Israeli communities living in Sderot and Ashkelon resulting in huge damage and casualties among the residents of these areas.

So a community that is horribly impoverished (per many postings here) has the resources to manufacture and fire 420 rockets since the beginning of the year. That's an average of approx. 11 per day. What a great way to use resources to work for peace!

2. Not sure what yr trying to argue here...
That the Palestinians in Gaza aren't impoverished and it's only a figment of the imaginations of some posters in this forum?

3. With Hamas stealing the humanitarian aid
and using aid money for bombs and rocket, they are a good part to blame for the impoverishment of the Palestinians.

Then again, Hamas aside, I always did wonder how these impoverished people managed to spend $244M in Egypt when Rafah was open.

The Gazans actually found many of the Egyptians much poorer than they were, and how surprising this was to them.
