1. Finally, some common sense
Rocket fire was down yesterday to about five, as opposed to 50 or more the day before.

Rocket fire slows down, the gates opened and in comes the aid and fuel.

Seems like it doesn't really take a real "rocket scientist" to figure out that if they stop shooting rockets, aid comes.

Rewards and consequences.

2. These are proud people who don't want to be treated like children.
Unfortunately, for generations, might made right. Jews learned lessons in galut ... Christianity doesn't want to return to the dark ages. There is hope in the future.

3. I hope that this has some effect
'sources close to Hamas said some of the movement's leaders had instructed all Palestinian factions to stop firing rockets and mortars at Israel.'

Encouraging news, if true!

4. and will the lesson be understood...
that actions have consequences?....its been ineresting though...i'm getting the impression that "punishing israel or blaming israel is far more important than helping the Palestenians for many. Its been the Palestinians that went to Rafah and to demand that Egypt open the border (something that doesnt seem to exist here)...seems those Palestinians were more interested in getting some supplies and started looking elsewhere besides israel.
