The Israeli Army has killed three Palestinians in the southern Gaza Strip and a Hamas official has said that Israel was negotiating a prisoner exchange to end the Gaza crisis.

The latest violence occurred in Rafah on Friday, near where Palestinian gunmen seized an Israeli soldier in a cross-border raid on June 25 .

The kidnapping of Corporal Gilad Shalit by Palestinian Islamist groups sparked a fierce Israeli offensive in the Palestinian territory which has killed at least 162 people.

In public Israel has rejected the Palestinian demands for a prisoner exchange but on Friday the Lebanese Arabic daily Al-Nahar reported that Egyptian was mediating a deal between the rival sides.

If I recall, in an earlier thread in here, I was accused by some pro-israel sycophants that I wanted to see more israelis die, just to keep things even.

one was their intended target.. who though he was a target had done nothing wrong. the other was completely innocent and in the wrong place at the wrong time. they both were playing soccer when undercover plain clothed israeli army troops shot and killed them.
