Court gives two Palestinian terrorists 15 consecutive life sentences

The Salem military court sentenced Yusef and Mohammed Al Karim to 15 consecutive life sentences for their involvment and dispatching a suicide bomber who blew up on Bus 16 in Haifa in December 2001 in which 15 Israelis were killed and scores wounded. In addition to the life sentences, the court added another twenty years to Mohammed's sentence because of additional terrorist activities.

In the West Bank, security forces arrest 3 Islamic Jihad fugitives and one Hamas fugitive in Hebron, two Hamas fugitives in Tubas and another fugitive in Nablus. Since last Thursday, the army has arrested a total of 54 Palestinian fugitives and recorded a total of seven shooting attacks at IDF forces during the week.

In the Gaza Strip in the early evening, IDF forces uncovered a 50 kilogram bomb near Rafah which was blown up by sappers, no one was wounded and no damage reported.Since last Thursday, IDF forces arrested nine Palestinian infiltraters, two were wanted by the Shin Bet for questioning.

The IDF said that a total of 13 grenades were thrown at soldiers during the week, and security forces uncovered two bombs and recorded seven shooting attacks.
