PM Sharon's Confidante: PA State - Not in this Generation
PM Sharon ´s Confidante: PA State - Not in this Generation

Prime Minister Ariel Sharon has changed his mind about the establishment of a Palestinian state. At least so writes his good friend and confidante, journalist Uri Dan.

<snip>

"The Palestinian leadership will not get to see a Palestinian state - at least not in this generation. The chance that they were given has expired." Dan, who has never been known to criticize a position taken by Sharon, wrote that the events of the past few days have convinced the Prime Minister that the PA must "disappear from the map."

2. It's a lie! Sharon has not "changed his mind"!
The destruction of the Palestinians as a people was always Sharon's intention.

But you have to wonder at the incredible level of contempt Sharon must have for Bush. There are those who claim Sharon has Bush over what the Israelis know about 911. I've always considered that to be BS. But now I have to wonder. Either way Sharon is clearly totally dictating to Bush where the "Road Map" leads.

3. Hey, some of them want a Palestinian state
As long as that "state" is a bantustan.

Screw Likud and Labour. They've both done nothing for the Palestinians.

6. It seems
that the only difference between the two is how best to beat the Palestinians into submission
