Call for UN intervention as Palestinian ministers seized
Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh has called on the United Nations to intervene to stop violence escalating in the Gaza Strip.

Palestinian security officials say the Israeli army has detained more than 10 ministers and members of the Hamas-led government during a night-time raid.

It is not yet known where they were seized and there has been no comment from the Israelis.

1. I despise tit for tat attacks. It is juvenile.
Tonight I am extremely unhappy with Palestinians and Israelis.

I thought we were moving forward.

Tit for tat is probably the worst thing in the Testaments and the Koran.

The Israelis have the power, money, weapons. support.

They need to take the high road, but they stay in that juvenile rut with their enemies.

2. There is no high road in a street fight
They tried that. The "high road" means allowing more kassams, katyushas and kidnappings.

3. If a single day was isolated you might be right, but over decades, it is
purposely and scathingly pathetic. No one should keep a street fight going for decades. Someone has to take the lead to end it.

I thank Carter, Clinton, their staff, King Hussein, his son, various other leaders in the ME and Europe.

It's time to stop, but war is profitable. That is not taking the high road.

The street could disappear before they stop. It seems.

4. Looks like the street fight will end soon
You end a street fight by winning. Calling "Mom" won't help.

War is profitable for some but expensive to the extreme for others.
Imagine what could have been, had the "palestinians" opted for peace instead of eternal war.

Things were looking bright right up to the point where Arafat walked out on bill Clinton.

Want ad in the "palestinian" gazette:

Rental property needed. Must accomodate 4 million people. Money is not an object. Send pricing and details to the UNRWA.
