3 Israelis lightly hurt in W. Bank bombings

Three Israelis suffered injuries during violent incidents in the West Bank over the holiday, and two Qassam rockets landed in Sderot, damaging two vehicles.

Early Thursday morning, during an operation in Jenin, two roadside bombs exploded next to an IDF vehicle. Two soldiers in the vehicle suffered minor injuries and were evacuated to Haemek Hospital in Afula for treatment.

In another incident on Thursday, shots were fired at an Israeli vehicle near the settlement of Ofra, north of Ramallah and a bomb exploded. The driver suffered minor injuries from shrapnel.

Also on Thursday, an IDF force entered a hospital in Nablus and arrested a militant of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. The militant, Juwad Ka'abe, was injured on Tuesday in an exchange of fire with an IDF force in the city. He was being treated in the Anglican Hospital in the city, with moderate injuries.
