15 killed as Israel takes revenge for rockets fired from Gaza
At least 15 Palestinians were killed in a series of Israeli attacks over the weekend aimed at stopping Gaza-based militants firing rockets into Israel.

The bloodshed was the worst in Gaza since Israel withdrew its settlers and soldiers last summer, raising the prospect of a return to the worst tit-for-tat killings of the four-year intifada.

But while the military wing of Hamas called for retaliation, political leaders of the Islamic group were more statesmanlike.

Ghazi Hamad, the chief spokesman for the Hamas government now administering the Occupied Territories, called on the United Nations to pressure Israel into stopping its military offensive.

This is propaganda at its best (or worst). The anti-Israeli sentiment by the British press is encompassed by this article! This has to be one of the WORST written articles I have ever seen come from a British source!

1. israel shouldnt shoot.....
its far more acceptable to have the palestenians shoot missles into israel without israel interfering.....it really ruins upsets the palestenains, the arab countries, and others who believe that they should be allowed to keep on trying to kill israelis without israel bothering them

2. You are so right!

The very idea that Israel should control her own borders and protect her own people is so offensive to some that they would rather see the total annihilation of Israel. However, it is "OK" in this day and age to hate Israel. It is OK to want to see her destruction.

We are expected to see the Palestinians as humans, which they are. But, we are expected to see Israelis as their "government!" We are to see the death of a Palestinian child as abhorrent, but the death of an Israeli child, we are called upon "to understand the "frustration" of the occupied.""

It sickens me that we, as so-called progressives, can condemn the "right-wing" propaganda, but if it comes from the "left," well, then it must be the truth!

The article I posted is nothing but PROPAGANDA! So, my challenge is to the self-proclaimed Pro-Palestinians, where is your "outrage at the lies in the OP?!

3. Yeah, that's darned inconsiderate of them!
The Israelis should just be more cooperative about being targets. How else are the Palestinians going to kill anybody if the Israelis keep shooting back.
:sarcasm:
