I firmly believe that it's either Syria or Iran next for these phsycho's. Here's is justification. All they need now is something tragic to happen in a large American city, and the people's fear level will be high enough for the next country on the PNAC'ers list.

"Saddam Hussein moved his chemical weapons to Syria six weeks before the war started, Israel's top general during Operation Iraqi Freedom says.

The assertion comes as President Bush said yesterday that much of the intelligence on Iraq's weapons of mass destruction was incorrect.

The Israeli officer, Lieutenant General Moshe Yaalon, asserted that Saddam spirited his chemical weapons out of the country on the eve of the war. "He transferred the chemical agents from Iraq to Syria," General Yaalon told The New York Sun over dinner in New York on Tuesday night. "No one went to Syria to find it."

while I am sure that is true, the run up to this war lasted a year, and if we weren't watching that border VERRRY CLOSELY 6 weeks before the invasion, for exactly this movement, it, well, it's frightening to to contemplate.

Not only that, we controlled much of that border with our so-called "no-fly zones". There was only a relatively small area in which this could have happened without our intervening if we chose to.

Furthermore, I don't think there has been any realistic evidence that they even had any of this stuff since the last war there.

It's easy to say this or that happened, but where are the WMD factories? Where are the storage facilities?

You might be able to make a case for stuff being moved if there was evidence any of current production and storage at the time of the supposed moved.

I don't think our inspectors are so stupid they would not have been able to determine that WMD had been recently moved.
