Ohio issuing CHLs
I now have a CHL, and was one of the 1st in the state to get one, I received mine at 8:05 AM on the day applications went into effect. I know of nobody else before me.

2. Not yet!
But I doubt if 100 have been issued in the state so far. However, I can say that even though i had a gun I didn't feel the need/want/desire/urge to shoot/wound/kill/maim/wave gun at/(insert other unsavory activity here) the assclown who cut me off on Interstate 71.

4. So what you're saying is...
that Right To Carry Ohio is not in pools of blood as is gun control model, no handguns allowed DC or Chicago.

6. After research, it appears that mine was the first in the State.
Amazingly, I have not had the urge to kill anybody, even though I have a gun.

8. The anti gun zealots were RIGHT THIS TIME!

Im sorry to say that the anti ccw people were correct this time.

CCW became law on Thursday, April 8th.

This afternoon, while cutting a tomato or my ham sandwich, the knife slipped and I cut my finger.

Coincidence? I think not.

Granted, its not blood in the street, but it was blood in the Kitchen.
MY KITCHEN!!

Im going to sell all my guns immediately because I know that they had something to do with it.

12. Mixed feelings...
I have mixed feelings about CCW.

It's great that you can now carry a weapon, if you choose.

It's bad, because you have given tacit approval to the infringement of having to get a permit to exercise your right.

It's also bad, because you have now voluntarily put yourself on a registry of gun owners.

Should the anti-RKBA folks have their way, those registries are going to be the first thing the government turns to when they move to collect them all up.

Nat

13. I agree with you there,
but I think it is another step on the slippery slope to freedom.
