WISCONSIN: Madison College Holds Handgun Safety Course
http://www.channel3000.com/news/29429384/detail.html

MADISON, Wis. -- With Wisconsin's concealed carry law going into effect in less than a month, some colleges are holding firearm safety training.

Over the weekend, Madison College hosted its first concealed carry safety course.
SNIP

Instructors said their course well exceeds the four-hour training requirement the new law mandates.

"Some places just teach people how to shoot a weapon. We think that's more important that you understand the legal and ethical responsibility of owning and carrying a weapon," said instructor Brian Landers.

Good judgement on the part of the college.

6. Sorry, guess I misunderstood your comment. I thought you were saying that
the school was entirely nonexistent, not just misnamed in the article - a misnaming that did make it sound a bit more prestigious (no disrespect to community colleges intended)...

14. I've taken the bus through this community college.
Pretty big for a community college. About 20 minutes from University of Wisconsin at Madison. The majority of the buildings are interconnected to accommodate students in that freeze your ass off Wisconsin winter weather.

11. Days gone past?
Wow I did not think my P-22 was that old. I'll still take Walther (and CZ) over Glock any day of the week.

13. Such bigotry...
Let me guess...

A Glock moved into your neighborhood and your worried what it's going to do to your property values. The Glocks are up partying all night, none of them are ever seen going to work. You see some shady people constantly going in and out of its house at all times of the day and night. Your afraid your daughter might be a Glock lover.
