Clerk shoots, wounds armed robber.

SNIP

The clerk told police a man entered the store with a bag covering his face and an object which appeared to be weapon.

The man demanded money from the cash register, and the clerk said he gave it to him.

But when the man asked for more money, the clerk told police he took out a handgun and shot at the robber several times.

Police said that Curtis Jason Wright was arrested after he was caught hiding in one of the back yards of a house on Edison Avenue.

SNIP

The clerk complied with the robber but that wasn't enough. He demanded more. The clerk had to fight for his life. Hw often are we told to just give the criminals what they want and they will leave peacefully?

The robber was hit in the shoulder and was luckier than the other thug, as he is alive and in the hospital.
