Gun runner gets 10-year sentence in Glouco sting
WOODBURY — A Glassboro gun trafficker who dealt high-powered semiautomatic rifles to an undercover officer was sentenced to 10 years in state prison on Friday. Horace Dixon, 50, earlier pleaded guilty in Superior Court in Woodbury to selling an assault firearm, unlawful possession of a machine gun and unlawful possession of a handgun.

"This case involved a man whose home was an arsenal of dangerous guns, and whose actions displayed a complete lack of concern for how the illegal firearms he sold were to be used," Colonel Rick Fuentes, Superintendent of the New Jersey State Police, said in a prepared statement.

Dixon was arrested by state troopers on Aug. 13, 2009, in the parking lot of a bowling alley on Route 47 in Glassboro as part of a join task force investigation. Dixon had gone to the bowling alley to meet and sell several guns to an undercover state police detective.

snip...

At the time of Dixon's arrest, police recovered several more guns from his car and a cache of 200 weapons, including a grenade launcher and a machine gun, at his home.

7. its not a straw man
Several gungeon posters want to repeal the 1934 NFA, this is their actual opinion. They also oppose even the most modest proposals to close the gun show loophole and make illegal purchase more difficult. So it is perfectly clear, the want to protect the freedumb of sleazebags to sell RPG's to criminal organizations.

10. Yes, it is.
"They also oppose even the most modest proposals to close the gun show loophole and make illegal purchase more difficult."

I don't oppose such efforts.

I'm simply of the opinion that gun control from now on, should have a price tag attatched to it.

If we put gun control pushers into a position where they're forced to decide what laws are important, versus what laws aren't, the useless laws might just disappear in exchange for something useful.

I didn't suggest repealing the NFA, but I did suggest removing the hughes amendment and reducing the 200 dollar cost of the nfa stamp, to ten dollars.
