Ex-Marine Steven Greenoe, 37, faces trial in the US accused of smuggling or trying to smuggle more than 60 handguns into the UK on flights into Manchester Airport.

The documents posted in the US Eastern District Court reveal the suspected gunrunner was stopped by airport security staff in North Carolina last May but still talked his way on to a flight.

He claimed to be an arms salesman returning from a gun show and the broken-down weapons parts were harmless dummy samples.

1. That sounds like a damning indictment of...
... the TSA. :)

As for Mr. Greenoe, he sounds like another stupid criminal who's going to get what he's got coming.
