17. Conflict of interest
Find independent news sources and you'll see their views match the views of their readers and not the agenda of the rulling class

3. BTW:
Misattributed

Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote.

* Widely attributed to Franklin on the internet, sometimes without the second sentence. It is not found in any of his known writings, and the word "lunch" is not known to have appeared anywhere in english literature until the 1820s, decades after his death. The phrasing itself has a very modern tone and the second sentence especially might not even be as old as the internet.

4. The corporate media has ALWAYS wanted guns restricted to the elite.
I have a bunch of hysterical cartoons from circa 1994 that these are pretty much carbon copies of. Demonize gun owners, portray gun owners as evil or twisted or warped, pretend violence rates are going up instead of down. Same MSM agitprop, different decade.

5. Well, if KV and the editorial cartoonists think the 2nd should go, who are we to argue?
Wait a minute, we're part of the 70% of the citizenry that recognizes the 2nd amendment grants an individual right and agree with the Heller and McDonald cases. Unless a few of those cartoonists are being nominated to SCOTUS their opinion, and those drawings, are on the bottom of a birdcage as we speak.

They are a very tiny bunch of people that usually can't even draw a gun accurately and are entitled to their opinion,. But they each only get one vote, just like us.

But thanks for serving as the uncompensated, and slightly unbalanced, spokesperson for "How America Feels".

8. The bottom line is this:
I am not going to give up my Constitutional right to keep and bear arms because of the actions of criminals. It's just that simple.

9. Who are "YOU PEOPLE"? Who the hell do you think you are.
You need to check your smug sense of superiority at the door. This is the second time you have used that term. What. The. Fuck.

12. I've noticed a marked shrillness in KV's post the last couple of days.
Apparently that is do to the anti-gun rhetoric being tossed into the trash can. The American public is not buying it any more and desperation is taking hold.

14. Yup, imagine the outrage if someone was to refer to blacks as "you people"
The same people that use it here to address gun owners would be up in arms (pun intended).

21. " You people need to see these!!! See how those that agree with me feel!" FTFY
Then again, you might have some evidence a dozen or so cartoonists speak for a nation of 300 million.

But I doubt it....
