It's too bad neither Murtha or Strickland are "Real Dems", or so we've been told.

It's too bad neither Murtha or Strickland are "Real Dems", or so we've been told.
From today's CMP E-Newsletter

"Camp Perry, Ohio - Ohio Governor Ted Strickland Opens the 2010 National Matches - CAMP PERRY, OHIO – The presence of the late U.S. Representative John Murtha of Pennsylvania was felt throughout the proceedings at the First Shot Ceremony on Monday, 12 July on Rodriguez Range adjoining the Shooters Memorial Plaza. The National Matches include the CMP National Trophy Pistol and Rifle Matches, the Pistol and Rifle Small Arms Firing Schools, CMP Games rifle events and the NRA National Pistol, Smallbore Rifle and Highpower Rifle Championships. The matches are conducted jointly each year by the CMP and the NRA and are hosted by the Ohio National Guard."

This article also includes a very nice memorial to Murtha as well.

Maybe a few more years of articles like these will allow some of our more close minded brethren to start thinking that shooting sports are an acceptable Progressive interest.

But yet, some of these same people love baseball, cheerleading, and football...

When statistically, you much more LIKELY to be hurt or KILLED taking part in those sports, than the shooting sports..O well, when people make snap decisions, based on emotions instead of facts, they tend to make silly decisions.

Their ignorance is amazing.

But you know, it's OK, we are winning....

5. Real Dems Shoot Guns...
Damn, it'd be the dream of a lifetime to compete at Perry. I too, would like to see wider acceptance of the shooting sports and the RKBA in general within the Democratic Party. We'll see.
