No idiot really believes that an airsoft gun is in any way capable of becoming a functional firearm, just because it looks like an AR or Mwhatever platform rifle and is capable of automatically firing plastic balls with compressed air does NOT mean you can stuff rifle cartridges into it and fire them at all, let alone automatically.

The process of turning an airsoft rifle into a firearm, especially an automatic one, would involve replacing every single part, external and internal, with ones for a real firearm. In other words, by the end of the "conversion" process, there wouldn't be a single piece of the original airsoft gun left, in fact, you would end up with the airsoft gun in the same condition it started out in, and a rifle that never had any relationship to the airsoft gun.

based on women and the female body. I won't go into what it was as it is blatant flame bait material but it really did make a good commentary on what total BS "constructive intent" is.

Which is that the lower receiver of this particular model of airsoft gun might accept a firearm parts kit and upper. Legally, as we know, the lower receiver is the part that constitutes the "firearm."

But frankly, Agent Crenshaw didn't give me the impression that he understood enough about ARs to make such an assertion with any credibility.
